Solution

Turn the traffic you already have into booked work

If a few hundred people a month reach your site and almost none get in touch, buying more traffic multiplies the leak. Conversion work is cheaper, faster and usually where the money is.

“People are visiting my site and not contacting me.”

Conversion is the ratio of visitors to inquiries, and for a local service business anywhere from two to eight percent is normal depending on the market. Below one percent something is broken, and it is almost always one of a small number of things: the visitor cannot tell what you sell, cannot tell whether you serve them, cannot find a reason to trust you, or is asked for too much before you have earned it.

The economics are stark. Doubling traffic means months of SEO or a permanent increase in ad spend. Doubling conversion means rewriting a headline, cutting a form from nine fields to four, and putting a phone number in the header. The second one is a week of work and it also doubles the value of every future marketing dollar.

Then there is the half nobody counts. An inquiry that arrives and sits unanswered for a day has largely already gone elsewhere. Response speed is a conversion lever, and it is the one most businesses have never measured.

Diagnosis

What's usually going wrong

  • The first screen does not say what you do

A slogan, a stock photo, and a menu. A visitor should know what you sell, who it is for and where you work within five seconds, and most sites fail that test outright.

  • The form asks too much, too early

Nine required fields including budget and how they heard about you. Every field costs completions. Name, contact, and what they need is enough to start a conversation.

  • There is nothing to trust

No reviews, no named people, no real photos, no address. Buyers making a several-thousand-dollar decision look for evidence a real business is behind the site, and generic imagery is the opposite of evidence.

  • Nothing happens fast enough after submission

The form emails one inbox with no auto-reply, no ownership and no escalation. The visitor gets silence and contacts the next business on their list.

The work

What we do about it

  1. 01

Rewrite the first screen and the path below it

One clear offer, one primary action per page, proof placed where hesitation happens, and a phone number that is tappable on mobile. We work from the evidence in your analytics, not from taste.

    Website Design & Development
  2. 02

Make the response instant and owned

Immediate acknowledgment to the visitor, routing to a named person, a reminder if nobody has replied within the hour, and a record that survives a busy day.

    Business Automation
  3. 03

Answer the stalling questions at 11pm

A grounded assistant that handles do-you-serve-my-area, do-you-do-this-kind-of-job and what-happens-next, then captures the details so you can call back with context.

Measurement

How you'll know it worked

We baseline each of these before the work starts, so improvement is provable rather than asserted.

  • Conversion rate by page

Inquiries divided by sessions, tracked per landing page. This is the number the work is aimed at, and it should be visible before any change is made so improvement is provable.

  • Form abandonment

How many people start the form and never submit, and which field they stop on. It usually names the offending question directly.

  • Time to first response

Measured in minutes, from submission to a human reply. Under five minutes materially changes close rates and it is entirely within your control.

  • Cost per inquiry

If you run ads, this falls immediately when conversion improves, because the same spend now buys more inquiries.

Questions

Frequently asked

Going deeper? Why your website is not getting leads

Often no. If the site is fast and technically sound, rewriting the pages that receive traffic and fixing intake gets most of the benefit. We will tell you when a rebuild is genuinely the cheaper option rather than assuming it.
